Ok, my idea won't help much with calorie intake, but you can get some good nutrition from herbal teas. Try alfalfa, red raspberry leaf, nettles, dandilion root, red clover, oat straw, and rose hips. You can add flavor with peppermint and a bit of honey if you like. These herbs are great for use during pregnancy and are also power packed with nutrients. As far as calories and protein go, you might try soy protein powders mixed in a little water or apple juice. Super Pro Greens is a pretty good one that is tasty too. I think someone also already said broths. I like to put ground flax seeds on my oatmeal and in my smoothies because they give it a nice nutty flavor, and have such great nutritional value. I hope you have some success.
