A good friend of my MIL's just had her first baby via (unplanned) c-section, and they also removed a huge fibroid, so she feels like she's been hit by a truck. She needs breastfeeding help and support. Any suggestions for a good LLL leader and a good LC in San Francisco?

I'm sure you've seen this site? There seems to be so many groups in the area. Can you start calling the one closest to your friend's home and just ask for the best, most exp'ed leader around?

Thanks for posting those names, Daryl! I haven't heard anything.

It's my MIL's friend, so I passed on to my MIL via email a bunch of LC names from near her zipcode, the LLL names, a link to a new parents' center that has LCs, the Kellymom page on bfing after c-section, and a recommendation that my MIL send her a My Brest Friend nursing pillow as a baby present. I also told MIL to tell her friend she could call me at any time. I will email my MIL and ask for updates...
