How long do XS VB AIO's fit a newborn (on average). Both my babies so far have been small, and I'm expecting another girl (so probably small
) I've made 6 and am debating on if I should make more or not. Also, I'm making them with the standard 8-layer birdseye soaker. How thirsty is that? Do you think I'll need to make the doublers to go along with them? Thanks!

My daughter was born at 7lbs 11oz and she is starting to outgrow the rise on them at 4 weeks, I assume by 6-8 weeks she'll be out for sure, if not sooner.

ETA: I personally think it makes the AIO too bulky with the insert myself but I do have them and have used them, now that shes outgrowing the rise though a bit, I dont use them.

We used them from 4 1/2lbs until;. . . . . . .hmmm. . . .maybe about 9 to 10??? She was nearly 3months when she outgrew them. so about 10lbs I guess. But she only outgrew the rise really. They have a great waist and leg holes size range but the rise gets short first. She's in mediums and medium longs right now at 16 1/2lbs at 5 months. Our xs vb(we had just two) were our favorite for outings or overnights as they were so easy. NEVER had any leakage in them. They were the only diaper that really did fit and fit well at 4 1/2lbs!!!!! I loved them!
