so as i was sitting on the couch relaxing my right breast began the familiar ache and twinging it has been doing through the whole pregnancy, i was topless cause our apt was starting to feel humid and warm.
so i started rubbing my breast to help the ache go away, starting from the top working my way towards the nipple. it HELPS so much.
then.. drop drop.. two BIG droplets of colostrum. WOW!
so i wipe them off, and keep massaging...
drop drop drop.
three more.
this continued for over an hour of massaging and getting out HUGE droplets of colostrum.
i had been seeing only tiny micro droplets before and then only one a day.

i am going to be a BFAR mama, so this is SO encouraging. YAY!!!!

now my left nipple is kind of "blocked" with stuff... i dont know if its ALL from the piercing that closed up, or if its nothing to do with that at all, and from the reduction 7 years ago.. or if its just... stuff... its white, and thick, consistancy of toothpaste.
i hope it gets unclogged by the time the bebe gets here.

YAY go boobies!

Oooho, encouraging! I have finally figured out, after 2 babies and YEARS of discussing this with my family and friends, that my milk takes almost 5 days to come in. FIVE DAYS. And when it does, it's soooooo hard to get it out, very painful and looking back now I can understand when and why my supply starts dropping. I must write this down and remember to address this with the LA I'll see after birth.
