Thanks for sharing your positive story! When I'm in the moment (i.e. it's 4:30 and he's nursing for the 5th time that night) I try not to wish time away... but during the day I do sometimes count the months until we can nightwean 
Knowing that someone was successful at 23 months... ahhh... that's only 16 more months, I can survive this!
Will you tell us what your son's sleep history was like? Was he one of those nurses every 2 hours babies?
