I just listened to a good interview on CBC about fat and its loveliness Of course they had to stick a nutritionist in there, who was clueless but at least fairly nice about it and did at least utter the phrase "Butter is not evil". But the primary guest is awesome and I think she's my new hero. I was disappointed there was no discussion over the differing nature of fats between factory-farmed and pastured animals, but you can't have everything I suppose.

cool. I saw a snippit of something on a channel this morning that was saying how much people need vitamin d to be healthy. But of course they were recommending supplements, not milk because who drinks that much dairy right? . Which, I guess for kids who don't get that much good food this is a good start- but it was like the idea of consuming mass quantities of dairy was insane.

the book looks great. my son is 7 and ever since weaning at age 5 has been obsessed with drinking milk, loves it in all forms, strait, chocolate, hot, baked in custard.
