I got my blue floral hotsling today and me and babe are loving it! It is everything I was hoping for! Before this all I had was a wrap so I was really looking forward to something that would be a lot faster and easier. I would love to learn how to sew pouches so I could give them to friends for baby gifts.

You should totally stitch one up! You can trace your hotsling.... as long as you're not re-selling it I don't see the problem with that <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"><br><br>
It's very fun to make and they're just so comfy!

I absolutely love my KKAFP, so when I saw this, I thought it would be perfect for the warmer weather! Darn it that she's on vacation and closed to new orders (probably good for my wallet though!)...I'll be keeping an eye open though, they all look great!

When will she re open for new orders? What is the turnaround usually like? I shouldn't have procrastinated and not ordered one. She has lovely fabric! Glad you love your new sling!

She says her vacation is through the 24th. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> And I think she says it's a 2 week turnaround, though she'll be on maternity leave in July-ish.

Kristen has had a huge increase in the volume of orders she is receiving, so the turnaround time may be a bit longer than it has been in the past. Hopefully she is having a very nice break and figuring out how to meet the tremendous demand for her awesome slings!
