I did the same thing as you did when I first leaked. I was in the bath tub and I happened to squeeze one of my nipples and out came some colostrum! I was SO proud that I called my DF in and he looked at me with this look of horror on his face and walked right out of the bathroom! HAHH!

Congrats!

yay!!

tho not leaking is no indicator of being able to breastfeed! i think it is only .05% of women can truly NOT make breastmilk to feed there babies ( unless you have had a redution that hurt your milk ducts, and even then many women breastfeed fine!)

hoping you a wonderful happy healthy breastfeeding relationship with your little one!

My MW actually checked my breasts at my appt yesterday. She squeezed a little and got a drop, said that was good. I had tried this myself a few days before and DH laughed at me when I got a drop, looked up and said, 'Hey! They are working!'

I'm probably weird but my breasts aren't the same size and the bigger one seems to be producing drops but the smaller one seems to not be as far along. Hope it catches up!

I think this is pretty normal. My right breast is slightly larger than the left and it produces a touch more, when I can get anything out of it. I haven't tried this pregnancy, since I sent myself into labor with nipple stimulation on accident during my first pregnancy! She was born about 10 hours later!

I did not leak at all with DD, and I produced enough for several babies once my milk came in....I leaked a lot until she was almost 7 months old. I have already noticed some colostrum coming in, and my dh casually told me after we had sex one night that I was already producing

My left breast seems WAY bigger than my right. The difference is probably much more evident to me than anyone else....but still, it seems that pregnancy has only accentuated the lop-sidedness. : I was hoping it would even them out. Darn.

Yeah, and I do seem to get more drops of colostrum from the big one too....wonder if this means it will be the boob my baby prefers.
