I got an apartment! DH and I are moving to Burlington, VT and I've been FREAKING OUT because we didn't have a place to live yet. But I finally managed to just take a step back from the situation, not spend every spare second thinking about how this baby was going to be raised in a cardboard box, and yesterday we got offered an apartment. Not just any one either, the one we both wanted! It's little but it's got two three-season porches and a little backyard and tons of cabinet space in the kitchen.

What a relief! Now I can spend my time stressing about something else!

Congrats! Burlington is a great place; my sister was all set to live there and then got stuck in CO chasing some guy for looooove. I was bummed, I couldn't wait to visit her there.

My bestest friend from childhood is there and she was my doula with my first. I think she's still attending births for free; should I check? She was super cool to have with me at my dd's birth; I'd have died (not literally!) without that post birth giant subway sandwhich.

And I'll never forget her holding my hand and comforting me after I had stitches (I tore), sniff.
