Yesterday I left DD in the living room playing to run downstairs and grab some laundry. When I left the potty was dry, and when I came back there was pee in the potty and a very content little girl playing again like nothing had ever happened!!! I can't believe it. After all the reminders we've been having to give her, the moment I leave the room, she decides to pee in the potty. Weird huh?

Anyway, I had to share. To give you an idea of our history, we started EC at 3 weeks, had 100% potty in the potty at 6 months, then from 9-15 mths things have been more hit and miss (maybe more like 60%) as she got a ton of teeth/couple of illnesses. But that's the first time she's ever initiated and followed through by herself!!!!! I wiped her when I got back, but I wonder if she wiped too?? hmmmm.... Anyway she gets it!!!

Yay! My dd has been going by herself sometimes recently, too. Unfortunately, most of the times she's done it have been when she's been wearing training pants, and of course she doesn't pull them down! I guess we need to do more bare-bottom time.
