I know I have stomach problems. My naturopath said it is probably a yeast issue. I got the dx before I knew I was pg... he knew though which is another story... so I stopped my "treatment" to fix it.

But I ran across this article about yeast overgrowth and it causing craving for sugar and carbs. I'm always craving sugar, even when I'm not hugry and I just ate a delicious filling meal. My next snack is always in my mind. I didn't think it was normal but now I've got an idea.

Thought some of you might be interested!

Now it is an article about yeast and depression but it talks about the sugar stuff in it.

I haven't checked out the www.yeastconnection.com yet.

I have been told that I have an overgrowth of yeast, my weightloss stalled back in Jan 2003 I blamed it on starting meds in Nov 2002 for headaches(which the health practitioner figures may be from the yeast).

I can't bring myself to go on the diet though, it is too close to Atkins for my liking. I can't afford the treatments she suggested either. I have started taking acidopholus and have noticed an improvement in my acne when I take it on a regular basis.
