Yet annnnnnnother car seat question...
I can't seem to find the fine print on this specific question regarding height limits. I know the specific limits on her seat, a Marathon.
Dd is 4 is about 40" and 37lbs. She has the curse of my family, which is long torso, short legs. Her shoulders are even with the top slots of her Marathon. When she grows taller than the top slots, do I need to move her to a belt-positioning booster? Does it matter where her head is in relation to the top of the seat?

Once your DD's shoulders are above the harness slots she is too big for the Marathon even if her ears are below the top of the shell. Unfortunaely, the Marathon's manual is not clear on this, but numerous people have called Britax to confirm this. Bummer your DD only lasted until 4 in the seat, Britax actually states 49" as the maximum height and both my DD and DS would have almost made it 49" in the MA (if they had been in one!).

Thanks. That's what I thought. I can hope her growth come from her legs for the next year or so, but it's not looking that way. Thanks again.
49"?? Really? My daughter is 41" at 4y, and her shoulders are even with the top strap slot in her sister's Marathon. We moved her into that briefly while we waited for her new Regent to come in the mail.
