I saw this on my local news and it reminded me of health class when I learned about "pathogenic stress," which is stress caused by the body fighting off illnesses, whether you know it or not. I wonder if this is part of the decreased stress levels; maybe their bodies aren't having to fight so much with all the beneficial breastmilk antibodies already in their systems.

I guess the only way to see if it is the bottle vs breast or formula vs breastmilk would be to study pumped vs direct breastmilk.
