Yogurt Cups

427 Views 5 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Ruthie's momma
My 2 year old will only eat yogurt out of the individual serving cups that it comes in. I keep trying to buy the big container of yogurt to dish servings from there, but she won't eat out of a bowl. I think she likes looking at the design/babies on the cups. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to buy cups to use for this purpose? I've reused the yogurt cups, but I'm hoping to find something more durable. Obviously, the cups would have to be something other than glass. Does anyone know of any cute cups with kid-friendly designs on them that aren't BOWLS? (Other toddlers are this picky, right?!)

I have half cup rubbermaid type containers, 6 of them, that dd1 uses for school snacks. I pack almonds or whatever at the beginning of the week for her. I could just as easily fill them with yogurt if we could keep it cold. They are very bowl like in that I wouldn't drink from that rim but there are no cute designs on them. I am guessing you have already walked the aisle at the grocery/baby things store?
This is to use at home right? What about little 4-6oz juice cups? I'm sure you could find those with kid designs on them (maybe Ikea?), and they're about the same size/shape as a yogurt container.
You could get cheap white little plastic cups and then put stickers on them.

Yup, let her pick out some stickers to put on something.

DD is the same way! Almost every morning, she wants the "bebe yogurt" for breakfast. While eating, she proceeds to talk about the "bebe." She is not nearly as interested in eating yogurt from any other container.
