I've tried the oven route with disastrous results.<br><br>
Does anyone have a favourite, inexpensive yogurt maker to recommend?<br><br>
Thanks!

My mom uses a Eurocuisine brand and it works great every time - got it on Amazon.

I have a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325&tag=motheringhud-20&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FSalton-YM9-1-Quart-Yogurt-Maker%2Fdp%2FB00004SUHY%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_sr_1%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dhome-garden%26qid%3D1205955944%26sr%3D8-1" target="_blank">Salton</a> that I bought at Amazon that I love. You can fit a quart-sized Mason jar in it instead of using the plastic cup it comes with which is great for those of us who try to stay away from plastic.

I like the way you can use a canning jar with the Salton. I'm going to order one.

We use an electirc heating pad in a cooler. Wrap it around the jar and ready to go.

I picked up an older salton at good will for 2.00. It had the directions and everything! It works great and I can even use to incubate sourdough starter.
