You are perusing recipe sites for new things to make. You see somthing called Liver and somthing cookies. It sounds kind of weird but doesn't faze you at all. Hmmmm.... an interesting way to get liver into your diet, right? After reading all of the ingredients and imagining how it would taste, you realise....... its a recipe site for dog treats!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

That happened to me searching the internet for freeze dried liver. I couldn't believe how many products there were. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

We had some freeze-dried liver treats for our dog. My DD decided she wanted to try them too, so I let her <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> Then I decided that wasn't a good idea because I wasn't sure they'd come from a pastured animal <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> DD wasn't that thrilled with them though - they were a little chewy and she didn't have all her molars yet.
