your toddler is nursing in conjunction with her morning snack, and when she unlatches you look down and there's granola on your nipple.

So funny you should post this. Just today ds2 was trying to latch on and couldnt and when I checked, he was still chewing a mouth full of crackers! lol! And yeah, Ive had all kinds of food fall out of my bra or found stuck to my skin somewhere. Crazy!
when you have to say things like"no, chew your food first, then you can nurse" lol
love how lately my little guy thinks it's hilarious to stash his snack (usually an organic rice cake) in my camisole (the side opposite of the side he is nursing on) . He will nurse for a few secs on one side, fish out his snack, take a bite, switch sides while chewing, stash snack in other side, nurse on other side for a few sips, repeat, repeat, repeat. He is very creative, lol.
Willow likes to store food in her cheeks like a chipmunk, then she spits it all out in my hand when she wants to nurse. Its kind of gross, but cut in a strange way.

I have had to make the rule that you cannot eat and nurse at the same time. This was prompted by a bad experience when dd was trying to do both. OUCH!
yeah, I've gotten really picky about giving dd a swig of water before we nurse- dh thinks its funny to hand her a cracker right when I pick her up to nurse!
I'm glad its not just me that finds snacks stuck ih my bra!!!

ds's favorite food is brocolli...imagine brocolli after a few hours being smooshed in my bra

Its a good thing I am a single mamma - no one else sees the inside of my bra!

Sorry - double posted...

awww, how cute, I wish that DD would leave cracker crumbs or granola on me, instead I get crusty boogers, ewww.
(barfing smilie)
That's cute. Someone pointed out to me the other day that it was sorta funny that my baby was old enough to beg for grapes between sides. I always have cracker crumbs in my bra or Sara is holding some sort of food while she's nursing and banging it on my chest.

Meg
that is so cute
