From Singapore:

They put breast milk in Milo and on children's wounds

THE things some breastfeeding mums do.
The mothers dab breast milk on wounds, burns, sore eyes and pimples.
They put it in Milo, on breakfast cereal, and serve it to their children, not just their babies.

(anyone know what MILO is???)

Some just find the idea a big turn off. Miss Charissa Lee, 27, a financial analyst, said: 'Breast milk with cornflakes is gross but still okay. But how could anyone use it as eyedrops or even pimple cream?'

This statement irks me.
: Like she's acting like breastmilk is some yucky bodily fluid like pee or something.

I'm so glad that those women are listening to their hearts and their own minds, rather than listen to relatives, friends, and doctors that find something wrong with putting breastmilk in the kids cereal or on their diaper rashes (which worked for Eva btw!).

As for Milo, go figure! I had never heard of it before, but it's nice to know it tastes good with breastmilk! lol

Milo cereal? That's a new one to me. I'm Australian and Milo (mylo not meelo) is an energy drink, sort of chocolately like but not really!

I had a look at the link - the cereal is new but the drink has been around for ages, you make it with milk and milo (like milk and nesquik but milo is supposedly healthier).

I miss me milo! Off I go to buy some from simplyaustralian.com hehe
