Where can I look for some great wool covers- newborn size? I am sold on the idea that even in FL Wool would be great ! I had some gorgeous wool pants for my last kids but have no clue where I got them from! I remember being a stalker for awhile on them and finally getting a pair but now, I have no idea where they were from!! (pregnancy brain!!??)

Thanks

Love, love, love my Aristocrats! But then we're up in Canada and I think they would be warmer than a Stacinator or something similar. But I love the Aristocrats - they leave no marks whatsoever on chubby legs and they keep even heavy-wetter DS3 dry at night. He's been wearing them since a couple weeks old (and he was 5 lb 12 at birth so he wasn't a bruiser).

So maybe not a great choice for Florida but they are a great cover! Been debating buying a Bumpy as I've heard so much good about them but I'm so reluctant to use velcro....

kiwipies are super soft and work great. Sugarpeas are also nice and they're not as expensive

I love the look and feel of the sugarpeas wool/flannel covers, but I've never tried them out. I fondled some this morning at a local shop. I just wish they came in a burnt orange colour. For now, I'm considering making my own wool covers, but I need to do some more investigating first.

So are these soft? I've been wondering about the feel of these "wool flannel" covers -- it is odd that no one else seem to use "wool flannel" for their covers.

As for Aristocrats, I find them scratchy out of the package, and so did several of my coworker-mamas -- I had them shipped to the office -- so I returned them. Some say they soften up after wash, but I have found many other wool covers (like Lana, Little Beetle, Loveybums and Tiny Bird Organics) that are soft right out of the package.

Ooh, I'd love me a Kiwipie cashmere or a Luxe wool cover. For now, I'll just have to dream.

I am in FL, and I can't imagine anything BUT wool in FL. Anything with PUL or fleece would just be too hot! Ds does great in his wool.

We really like Loveybums and Stacinator. I like the loveybums best. I just got an interlock loveybum for nighttime, and an loving it.

another vote for kiwipie and luxe... i have gotten all my kiwipies off the TP by putting out a ISO and they're in great condition.

I love Sugarpeas (they do soften up with wash/wear), Bumpy wool, Disana soakers, and most anything knit. I had a cashmere Kiwi Pie a few years back that I kick myself for selling (though it would be way too small now for ds#3) that was wonderful. And the wool covers from Firefly Diapers are fantastic! My next purchase I think will be a Loveybums since everyone raves about them too.

I really really like my Little Beetles covers. They are super soft, thin and stretchy.

Nikkys. My favorite covers are Imse Vimse, but IME the newborn size runs big so I think Nikkys would fit better on a newborn.

I always wanted to try a Loveybums but never did.

I love the Little Beetle merino covers but they are pricey, for a very reasonably priced and outstanding wool cover I really think it's hard to beat Loveybums.

I vote sugarpeas. They are adorable, functional, cheap (as wool goes), trim, and very adjustable. Also come in a variety of colors!

Kristin makes really nice stuff. I know babies who wear them, and soon-to-be baby girl will be wearing them too

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id...ion_id=5086276
