Are you talking e-mail or regular mail? I *think* it's illegal to e-mail them unless they sign up for it, but I'm not positive, it may vary by area too??? Someone please enlighten us! For regular mail, I haven't personally done it, but I think it's ok because I get stuff in the mail with my name on it all the time that I didn't sign up for <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

Wow, ok, that made no sense...sorry, lack of sleep is showing! That's what happens when you pull several all-nighters for a project...<br><br>
If you're going to email them/add them to your list, you have to somehow let them know that you are going to do so. If they sign up to be a customer, if that's your criteria for example, you have to state where they sign up that you will send them emails.<br><br>
When you do send emails, you have to include directions on how to unsub.
