We all know that staying hydrated is important, but personally my taste buds have gone wonky. So... how to get all that water we need?

I'm taking a cue from the mojito! A couple sprigs of mint, a tiny dash of lime juice (lemon or some fresh fruit would be great, too), a dash of sugar. Crumple the miint leaves and add lots of nice, cold water and a couple of ice cubes.

Just that little bit of flavor really helps me drink more.

corysmilk, I have been all about the lemonade as well! It started with lemon cake a few weeks ago actually. I struggle to drink enough water. I just don't like it much, don't think about it, etc. I'm trying to do better.

I've been drinking flavored seltzer/fizzy water (no sweeteners, just flavoring added) to drink more water. Plain flat water is so unappetizing to me when I feel sick and I crave pop, but it's too much sugar (or artificial sweetener).

I never drink soda or juice or anything, even when not pregnant, so I drink a lot of water normally. Like, at least 2 liters of water per day. In the winter I drink hot tea, but ever since I got that BFP hot tea has been sooooo unappetizing. So I made a big pitcher of strong iced tea (just tea bags + hot water, no sugar) and then make it half strength in my glass with water and ice. So far I've done blueberry green tea, and lemon zinger. Going to try raspberry next, I think.

Good idea! I was just munching on some fresh spearmint leaves. Lemonaid sounds great too.

We are at my ILs and the well water here is so gross. I have a brita filter but it's already going bad.

I'm having the hardest time getting it down, too - but if I make peppermint tea with just tea leaves I can get that down.

lemon slices work too - but I'm SO trying the fake mojito!! Yummy. wonder if I have any fresh mint in my garden...I think the kids "pruned" it
