Wasn't sure where to put this, so decided to put it in the "catch-all" .

I'm having skin issues - starting to get those fine lines around my eyes, have the large pores with the blackheads that never seem to go away, getting that "crepey" look. I'm not ready to succumb yet, but also don't want to put all sorts of chemicals on my face.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has used Zia products and, if so, what your experience has been. I'm willing to find the money, but don't want to spend it on stuff that doesn't work.

Thanks for any input!

I was given a sample pack as a travel gift. I didn’t find that particular product to be that special. Personally, I sort of resent the huge price tag placed on some natural skin care products. Are they really that much more expensive to make? Anyway, I just got on to say that you could ask for some sample packs from various places and/or buy a travel pack. Keil’s gives out whole hand fulls of free samples when you ask and that stuff is nice.

I got the sample travel pack too and did end up using the moisturizer and the face wash. Good products, but nothing special. I found the Alba Botanical line much better and more reasonably priced. I love their lotions!

I now use Dermalogica. (the salon I get facials done uses their products) They are pricey, but use all natural ingredients and are quality products. Since I just turned 45, I bought their line for a birthday present for myself. My skincare is very important, especially since I live in really dry desert weather. They have a dot.com where you can check their info. If you decide to try it, I also found a site online that gave me 20% off and free shipping, cheaper than buying them from a salon, which is the only place you can find it. Since Ive been using Dermalogica Ive seen a noticeable improvement! Plus, even though the products were expensive, I probably will only have to buy them once a year as they last forever!!!

Thanks for the input!

Rainsmom - If you could PM me (or just post) the link to the dot.com place for the good Dermalogica deal, that would be wonderful! Also, if you wouldn't mind sharing which products you use, I'd love that, too. Skin care is so important to me... I wish I had paid more attention my entire life, of course, but I think it's not too late. I had seen Dermalogica when I had a facial done, but did not know they were all natural (which is why I was drawn to Zia). I definitely don't mind putting out the money if I know they work.

Thanks again

Zia is a great skincare line - Their papaya enzyme peel is great , esp used in conjunction with the citrus night time reversal. I find their prices to be somewhere in the middle....and depending on what you are used to spending , they are pretty reasonable compared to Dr. Hauschka and Borlind.

Better Botanicals is also a great natural line to try - based on ayurveda - many product are made in india . Very clean line and not too confusing.....

These lines both have websites if you would like any other info, do a google search or so...

feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions...i work in the natural products industry and deal with these skincare lines on a daily basis....

skin smoothing cream
multi active toner

AND 2 Extras:
multivitamin power recovery masque
mulltivitamin power firm (for under the eyes and around the mouth area)

www.dermalogica.com will give you product info on all their stuff so you know what youre getting.
