My 2 1/2 yo has eczema. He is taking Singulair and Zyrtec. He drinks like a camel all the time. He can soak a sposie in an hour! Has anyone else run into this with Zyrtec?

hmm, I do think my kids drink more when on zyrtec, but since they are older I haven't paid much attention to it. I know when I take it, it dries me out a lot and I drink just to make my mouth and throat feel less dry. As far as the dipes, what goes in has to come out lol

Yup, antihistamines dry you up so you end up feeling thirsty.

T I found out recently from my pharmacist that in some children, especially the very young, Zyrtec can supress impulse control. Just something to watch for.

I am taking Zyrtec and Singulair, I get a lot of bloody noses. I guess that could be due to drying out too...
