A few months ago I noticed that the toenail on my left big toe stopped growing. It's a tiny bit swollen and tender right at the base of the nail bed, but nothing really that noticeable. The nail looks normal -- nothing fungus-y looking.
Has anyone ever experienced this? I am seeing a podiatrist next week but I don't always trust doctors and I thought I'd ask here.
