I keep reading conflicting things about bubble baths. Is it bad to give bubble baths, even if they aren't retractable yet?

I give my boys bubble baths sometimes, and they are okay, but I am very careful about it. I use an all natural bubble bath (California Baby is one that comes to mind) with a lot of essential oils, etc. None of the regular Mr Bubbles type stuff (that always irritates them). I also watch to see if something is bugging them. If they seem to be getting irritated, I stop for a while.

I think that, as with all things, it depends on how sensitive the boy is, what you're using, how often, etc. If you do it and they seem fine, then okay. If you notice redness then it would be good to rethink it. yk?

I've never had a problem and we use Mr Bubble. But I always warn others that it could be a problem and to look out for it.

I suppose just like girls, some boys are more sensitive than others. The concern I've heard is that the perfumes etc. can cause irritation, which can lead to other problems. All my kids (1dd 2ds) take an occasional bubble bath. We use very gentle soap, shampoo, and bubbles though and have never had a problem.

If your ds dosnt have reactions to bubble baths then by all means give them. Just watch for possible irritation. There is no cut and dried answer to this question it will vary from person to person.

Just like some woman can take them and some cant the same goes for boys/men.

I guess I should have clarified that we only use organic or natural baby wash. We don't even have bubble bath but I do squirt organic baby soap in the tub. So my real question would be is it ok to soak in organic and natural soaps? We don't buy the chemical stuff anyway.

Like I mentioned before if there is your ds has shown no issue with it then there is no reason you cant put it in his bath.
