So what is the definition of a frequent waking. Every couple of hours? every hour? every 45 minutes? every TEN minutes?

And WHY? and why will she sometimes go back to sleep, and sometimes be up for an hour or two?

I'm tired...

My first was what I consider a frequent waker and she'd wake up about every hour and a half. It's hard to get a good night's sleep when that's going on.

How old is she? If she's a newborn, then it might involve assistance from your husband in getting you more sleep at other times. If she's a toddler, you might be able to make some serious changes. But give some more info and maybe the moms here can give you some suggestions! My first one is that if you're talking about a little baby, nap if your baby is napping. It's so tempting to get work done around the house but you have to take care of yourself first, and they're only little for a short while. It is hard with new babies to get enough sleep but if you make sure you're sleeping (or at least resting) whenever your baby is, it should help you from feeling too much like a zombie.
