Dh weighs 191 pounds

My goal has always been not to weigh more than dh-- oops!

I'm 5'8 and was 215 at my last appt on Monday. I know that's a lot but I don't really feel like I'm that "big". I personally don't get caught up in numbers because I don't think they mean a damn thing.

Me on Sunday:

I am 5'9" and weighed in this morning at 193 (but don't think I look it). Prepregnancy I typically weighed anywhere between 153 and 158. Unfortunately I had gained some weight with my m/ced pregnancy and didn't lose it yet so I was close to 160 when I got this BFP.

DH is 5'10" and weighs about 180 so I passed him several months ago.

With DS1 I started at 165 and ended at 220.

Then I got down to 145 when I got pregnant with DS2, then lost some more which got me to 140 or so, right now I'm at 170.

I feel SO much better this time than last time, let me tell you!!!

Ugh. I'm at 211, after eating breakfast (almonds and strawberries

.

I started at 173, overweight at 5'3". I never lost all the 70# I gained w/ds last pg. So, 38# this time

.

I'm really hoping to shed some pounds after this one. I feel miserable. I gained 35# w/my dd and was at 175 when I had her. That felt so much better than this!! Yuck!

I started out overweight. I'm 5'2" and started at 188!

Then I got preggy and I dropped down to 165 after the m/s and I am "back up" to 183...

I'm SO determined to lose weight after the baby is born! I'm tired of being big! I was SOOOO skinny all growing up! And without effort! (I was 115 when I graduated HS) Then I dunno what happened! I slowly started putting on weight and I haven't been able to get it off! *sigh* But I am determined this time!!!!

One of many reasons I have not and will not step on a scale at all this pregnancy. My husband is 5'7" and has been gaining a bit of weight while I've been pregnant, but he's still in the 180 range I think.

i'm 35w4d and 5'4.5". i just hopped on the scale so i could post. i'm 148.5#. i was 119 when i got my bfp, so i'm pretty much up 30#. i fully expect to keep gaining 1-2# a week until i have this babe in the next 2-6wks, and that's ok.

oh, and dh has gained about the same amnt of weight that i have. he's 6'2" with a really broad frame. he was at 230#, but he quit smoking about 2mos ago (YAY!) and is up to 260#. he's totally freaked out about it.

but i keep reminding him that's just a little weight that can be excercised away. a small price to pay to get the monkey off his back, yk?

YAY to your DH!! My DH quit smoking 2 1/2 tears ago. He weighed 175 before quitting and put on about 30+ pounds right afterwards. Once he got past the hardest part of quitting and celebrated a year of no smoking (we keep the anniversary date on the calendar to celebrate each year) he let me teach him Weight Watchers eating. He dropped 20+ pounds and has kept it off for over a year now.

I was 140 and 5'10.5" before getting pregnant and now am 160 at 36.5 weeks.

Fortunately, DH is 6'3" and 215-220ish (he's pretty broad framed, but he's lost weight during this pregnancy while I gained lol) so I'd have to gain a whole heck of a lot to pass him at this point! I'm pretty sure this baby is going to be a long one though...

Congratulations to all those dh's who quit smoking!!

5' and 167 at 36 weeks
164 prepregnancy (I hate being in the "obese" category on the BMI chart!!)

I plan to count calories and do exercise videos after the birth in order to lose all the weight. Last time I was lazy and 30 lbs just hung around until I got pregnant again. I want to get down to 135 again, although the nurse says I should be 123 (ha ha what a joke). My dh is 5'10" and 135 pounds and it's so embarrassing weighing more than him.

I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs at 33w1d--I started out at about 134 lbs, so I've gained about 16 so far. I feel great, and baby has been healthy at every checkup and is estimated to be in the 84th percentile for size, so she's growing great, too. I think my weight gain is mostly belly, breasts, and fluid, although I do think I've noticed a bit of extra padding in the thighs.

DH is 6'1" and about 172 lbs--I don't think I'll be passing him at this point!

Hahah, so has mine! He even got belly stretch marks before I did! I'm 5'2" and weigh a whopping 170 at 36 weeks. I come from a family with eating disorders, and refuse to care about how much I weigh. My poor sister started off her last pregnancy underweight (110 pounds which is way too skinny for her) and only gained 11 pounds and had an 8 pound baby. We don't own a scale mainly because I just don't want to spend energy caring about it. But honestly it is really hard not to care about when your whole family talks about how to stay skinny all of the time. When I got pregnant the first thing and I mean first thing my mom and my sister said to me was make sure you don't gain too much weight! I told them I didn't care!

I'm 5' 3" and somewhere around 170. Honestly, I really try to avoid worrying about specific numbers and just try to eat healthy (not always successful at this this) and stay physically active. And, I really hope to just maintain that kind of behavior post baby.

I didn't start paying attention to what I was weighing in at until just recently because I worry about the unhealthy attitude and path it can lead down.

At my last appt... at 34 weeks, I weighed 221... I'm 5'7"... really overweight.

Anyway, I started this pregnancy at 214, went down to 200 and now am up 21 pounds. The midwife says it's good though, and everytime I step on the damned scale and it says I've gained more she smiles and says to me, "Melissa, this is the only time everyone in the room is going to cheer when you gain... eat it up!" (I must say yet again... I LOVE my midwife!)
