Anyone else experiencing a full-on fetal assault?! I've been feeling movement for a couple weeks now, but last night and today have been marked with REALLY strong kicks/movement - not painful, but definitely enough to stop me in my tracks. Maybe it's just surprising because I'm a first timer.

I think a little someone is taking after his black belt uncle ...

I know exactly what you're talking about, and yes, my little girl can pack a few shocking punches! Sometimes it feels like she is just rolling around in there, but at least a few times a day it feels like she is using my internal organs as punching bags.

Sometimes it is startling enough that I stop what I'm doing and say gently, out loud, "Sweetie? Can you please not punch my bladder, love?"

my husband and my son give me quite the whimsical glances when I do that.

Early this morning I felt a big bout of activity going on, so I lifted up my shirt to check things out and actually saw a few movements from the outside! I put my hand on my belly and felt it from the outside for the first time too.

Dh was too sleepy to have the patience to wait for a good kick. And dd is always so preoccupied with showing me *her* baby-belly whenever I lift up my shirt to show her the baby is being active.

You will probably just have a super active child! Dd was so active in the womb (way more than this baby is) and she is a very physically active child. Bouncing, jumping, running...always moving!

Yep! Sometimes she's quite determined to get my attention (usually when I'm hunched over the computer...like now!)

Though we like to think she's doing TaeKwonDo vs Judo but that's just 'cause we're both Black Belts in TKD!

Oh and a little tidbit....I actually tested for my 3rd Degree Black Belt at 14 weeks pregnant!

I keep saying little man must have a Bowflex in there or something because he's getting STRONG!

my son would approve--he's about to test for his purple belt

YES the ninja moves in there get annoying sometimes--he loves to bounce around like mad right after I've gotten up to pee at night, and desperately need to fall back asleep
