What does soy do to Luteal Phase?

The little reading I did on it seems to indicate soy will lengthen follicular phase (the time before O, right?). But is that all it does? Does it affect LP at all?

TIA for any info!!

Soy is estrogen based as I understand it the dominant hormone for the follicular or preO phase is estrogen. Post O, the luteal phase is progesterone dominant.

I think soy is used to jump start O, like clomid, but I don't think it affects the luteal phase. For that you need progesterone.
