What is your 4 month old doing and what are you doing with them?

I think I probably hold or wear my baby too much but I just love it!

So, I am trying to do more floor time. She loves to lay on her back and look up at her dangly toys. She doesn't like tummy time but we try to do it each day---she has rolled over a few times. She likes her bouncy seat with toys hanging in front of her. She almost fits in an exersaucer.

Sometimes I think I am not doing enough to stimulate her. I read threads that your little babies are doing so much like sitting up, crawling, pulling themselves up and I start to feel a little guilty like I should be doing more wiht her but she seems like such a baby.

eh... ds is number 2 so the greatest portion of his time is being hauled around to something for dd or me

When we're at home he's often on a blanket on the floor with toys. He rolls easily now both ways and can rotate and move a bit. He enjoys toys of all types (though his toes are his favorites

Hmmm.... he likes laughing at dd when she makes outrageous faces and obnoxious noises.... once in awhile he sits in the swing and plays with the toys there or bounces a bit in the jumper...

lays around and spins in circles and can turn from front to back. he sits in his bouncy seat and bumbo seat some, haven't pulled out the jumparoo or exersaucer yet but will very soon to give him some variety, he has just started grabbing at stuff to hold onto. his absolute fav thing to do is "talk" to whom ever will listen - me or his brothers.

Mine will be four months next week

He does a lot of jabbering or eating his hand (or my hand..which makes it hard to type) he'll grab it and stuff my thumb in his mouth. He is teething really bad.

mommy flesh is delicious.

he also likes to kick, his big sister got some baby laughs out of him. I am not as funny apparently.

That's all he does.

Dd was VERY active she blew through all her physical milestones early.

Ds seems more social/seems more thoughtful (or that is his "I need to poop" face either one
Image
) He is very chatty, he likes a lot of "conversation" he is very attentive to his surroundings and loves to admire himself in the mirror.

Chatty chatty chatty....

and what is the attraction to mommy flesh? I wish I could blame it on teething, but the dude is chewing in the BACK of his mouth.... never heard of one getting molars first

My babies are 4 months tomorrow

. They also must be teething because they are constantly chewing on their hands and drooling. Baby ds has a tendency to get so into it that he gags himself and spits up. Nice

. Baby dd has rolled twice from belly to back but mostly they both just end up circling around on their back. Baby ds has also become very talkative and oooohhh's constantly. They love interaction with myself and their older siblings. During their happy awake times they love sitting with me when I read to the older dc's.

I haven't pulled out the jumper or exersaucer but might soon to see how that goes. I just read on a new jumper in the store the other day that it was for 3 months and up. I just figured it was more like 5 months. Someone gave us a bumbo chair but neither one seems to like it. They would rather sit in the reclining high chair when we're in the kitchen.
