I bought a nice maternity dress at Motherhood for a wedding I attended. Total cost: $34.

 

Yeah, I love the sale rack at Motherhood! I actually like my maternity dresses better than any of my non-pregnant dresses. I got a lovely cream cotton dress at Motherhood for $19 that I wore to a wedding and 2 showers when I was pregnant in 2006, and I can't wait to wear it again! So comfy and simply elegant.

I was just at Motherhood and they have some really cute spring and summer dresses. Target had some nice ones too but they were a little more casual.

 

i got married 7 months pregnant and i actually bought my dress at motherhood maternity. it was really cute, and it fit so well that people thought i had it made for the wedding. maybe i was just lucky, as i never really found any other clothes that i loved there. it only cost 35 dollars, much less than my husbands 175$ tux rental!

 

I live in an area where we don't have any real maternity stores, so I would go to Old Navy. They have lots of cute stuff, and it's not real expensive, but it may not be dressy enough.
