My son's limbs shake violently when he cries or is startled. I thought babies should grow out of the shaking by this age? I'm a little worried. He doesn't seem to shake at any other time, and seems normal in every other developmental area.

Hello, I wouldn't worry too much. I remember my son doing the same thing for quite a while. It gradually stopped. My daughter didn't do this after the first couple of weeks, though. They are all a little different.
