can anyone think of an issue with large doses of acidopholus to kick a yeast infection I have. I prefer to take this than do a mainstream treatment. I usually take 2-3 caps 3x/day for 4 or so days

I don't think there is any problem taking that much. My acidophilus said take 2 tb after every meal, so that's about the same amount. You might consider taking it for longer than 4 days though...my friend who had 3 yeast infections took hers for a couple weeks at a time to make sure everything was clear.
