berkey is a great system. the ones we use/sell are just like it.

 

I got one recently.

I like the styling, capacity and functionality of it.

I'm not as impressed with the flavor of the water. It still tastes like city water to me. I did the food coloring test--I put food coloring in it and it filtered it all out so I do think it is working properly.

I had an aquasana faucet filter before and the water tasted better.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It's my understanding that you need to purchase a second filter that removes the fluoride and arsenic. Now I wonder, does anyone know if it filters out pharmaceutical residue?
