I'm looking for books for a 2yo that talk about appropriate expressions of anger. There was a great thread a few days ago where people posted with their favorite books, but I can't find it. I did'nt subscribe to it, and the search function is out....

So, please post your favorite books about anger. Or books that talk about emotions in general. And if you happen to have the link to that past thread, I'd love that, too.

Thanks!

Was it this thread? http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=485336
There's also a book thread on page 6 right now.
I *think* Becoming the Parent you want to be has info on how to help young kids express their emotions in acceptable ways.
If you'd like to know for sure, I can look through it for you.

Good luck!

There are a lot of good books for kids about emotions:

Hands Are Not For Hitting
Words Are Not for Hurting

When Sophie Gets Angry, Really, Really Angry
The Temper Tantrum Book

Today I Feel Silly: And Other Moods That Make My Day by Jamie Lee Curtis (she's got a couple others too)
That Makes Me Mad!
I Was So Mad

A whole bunch by Elizabeth Crary, among them:
When You're Mad and You Know It
When You're Happy and You Know It
When You're Silly and You Know It
When You're Shy and You Know It
I Want It
