Anyone have a recipe for crispy rice bars (like rice krispie type) without marshmallows or brown rice syrup? Can I improvise with honey and something else?

I've got ya covered!

This is a vegan peanut butter crispy bar recipe:

1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar or granulated sweetener
2 tablespoons margarine
3/4 cup peanut butter
4 cups (or more) of rice crispies

In a big pot, heat corn syrup, sugar, and margarine until it just begins to boil. Turn off heat, add peanut butter and mix until it's melted in. Remove pot from burner and add crispies and mix well. Pour into a 9 x 9 inch glass pan that you've sprayed with non-stick spray. Let cool or put in fridge for a short while. It's easier to cut into squares after it's set and cooled.

My entire non-vegan family and friends go ga-ga over this recipe. It's fast and easy. Delicious every time.

It's the name brand of-well-marshmallow fluff!

There is egg white:

Quote:
What is Fluff made from? Corn syrup, sugar syrup, vanilla flavor, and egg white. There are no artificial preservatives, stabilizers, emulsifiers, or colorings in Marshmallow Fluff.

Quote:
If Fluff gluten free? Yes, it is also kosher.
Most fluffs do not contain any form of gelatin...
