I'm very temped to buy this, but I just wanted to see if anyone has used it. I'm looking at the pants and the soaker pattern. I really don't need any new patterns but these are so cute!

Any reviews would be great!

I have been crocheting soakers for a couple of weeks for my new babe, due in June, and I have yet to purchase a pattern. Let me know if you would like the (free) patterns I have been working on. I have drooled over the Dandelion Dreamers patterns and done some searches on them and I have not read a single complaint. If you purchase them and crochet them, please post how the pattern was and how the soaker worked for you...there are so few of us crochetting soakers we need to stick together!

I'd love to see a pattern you've been using! I have a couple free one's I've found, but they're not quite as cute are the Dandelion Dreamer's pattern. I want to knit some soakers and longies for a couple friend's that are pregnant...and of course I'd like to make a couple pairs for DS and maybe stash a few for any future babes. Any other time I'd just get it, but I feel like I've been spending a lot lately...new patterns, lots of yarn, tons of fabric and snaps...I already have too much stuff to work on, but I love new projects!

I started the pants yesterday...I don't have any Fisherman's wool but I couldn't wait to start, so I'm making some with Wool Ease. The large looks pretty big, I hope that they won't be too big. I'm a couple rows away from being done with the top and then I'm get to start the legs! I can't wait to get some wool and start making some "real" covers!

I don't remember if that pattern has a drawstring but you could always add one to cinch the waist to make some too-big pants wearable. Or you could add a button (or two) at the waist and crochet on a button tab or loop so you could adjust the tightening. I am going to do the button tightening idea with the soaker sack that I improvised from photos of the dandelion dreamers one.

Yay Im glad you got the pattern. I do find that her patterns (for us anyway) run very big. I have learned to modify the pattern to fit my DD. I actually make almost a small to med. and just add the higher rise. I cant wait to se epics! Oh and have you ever used wool ease for a cover before? Im interested since Ive never heard of that because its not all wool right? If it works ok I have an AC Moore that has tons of wool ease I can go checkout

I'm glad you said that the pattern runs big, it measures right and the gauge is right, it is just so HUGE! I'm going to rip it out and try a medium instead. I'm really glad I tried the large and not the extra-large! Oh, and the wool-ease is just because it's what I had sitting there. I had to try it out and I couldn't wait until I got some wool. I'll have to make a trip out of town to get some soon...I don't think I can wait for some to be shipped! I have 3 pregnant friends...and they will each be getting a pair of longies in their baby shower diaper basket! Oh course I'll have to make a couple pairs for the baby I'm hoping to conceive this year! If I catch an egg on this cylce the baby would share due date with big brother! Here's hoping you catch an egg too!

.. I had emailed Patti at DD to ask about the sizes and she said they are big because they are meant to be a baggy fit. I did make my first pr baggy and its cute but I also prefer a tighter fit

I'm due to O this week too! That would be fun if we got pregnant at the same time!
Thanks for the info from Patti...that makes sense if they are supposed to be baggy. I like the tighter fit too, so now I know to make 1 size down. I can't wait to get some wool and make a pair "for real"!

Well, I finished them this morning! I don't think I made the legs long enough so I just made up for it with the cuffs. I made the size small, but used a size smaller hook for everything to make it smaller. You can look at it here:
