It is articles like this that shows the need for all of us to become activists. There are people in positions of authority who could potentially remove your children from you because of your dangerous parenting styles. It could be co sleeping, breastfeeding too often or too long, non vaccinating, homeschooling, or refusing genetic blood testing like we did. If your local HHS considers your behavior potentially dangerous, you could be a target. If you are a drug addict or violent person who admits to their problem and agrees to treatment, you can keep your child, but if you deny that your behavior is a problem then you are considered a menace and your child can be removed. I have seen it again and again.

However, I do not want to become a fear monger. I just want to challenge you to pray and to write. Write a letter to the editor about the issues dear to your heart. Write to legislators when issues come up.

All that is needed for evil to prevail is for good men (or mommies) to do nothing.
