One of my best friends is
moving to a new state in about 3 weeks. She and I were pregnant with our firsts together, and the two boys are best friends. They're both about 31 months now, and have seen each other at least once a week for their whole lives.
I don't know how to talk to my DS about his friend moving away. I know eventually he won't remember him, but right now he asks to play with his friend all the time, and he's a big part of his world. I want to prepare him a bit for what's happening, but don't want to upset him.
I'm really sad my friend is leaving too, and am not sure how my sadness will affect him as well. He's very sensitive to my emotions.
