Hi,
It's easy to homeschool here, from what all the moms who do so say to me(my oldest is only 3.) Vax exemptions are not a problem at the USNH, they have a form you fill out. There are 3 Okinawan HB midwives here. If you have a homebirth, they sign a form that says they witnessed the birth and you take it to your town office. The town office gives you a certificate of acceptance(the equivalent of the birth cert you'd get in the hospital) which you have translated into english and send to the consulate to get your baby's passport. Once you get the passport you can send for your ss card. I UC'ed and my dh signed the paperwork as a witness, and the town office was fine with that. The consulate, however required my prenatal records, an exam of my LO, and an exam for me by a DR stating I had given birth. it was a huge PITA, and if I had to do it over agin, I would have taken a video of me giving birth, so I could have avoided all the paperwork crap. PM me if you have any more questions!
