Keeping artwork and such in....???? What do you use?

What do you use to store school papers and art projects in? My son is only 3, so we aren't technically "doing homeschooling" yet, but he still has things that I want to keep and want to put in a safe place. So what do you use?

a box?
portfolio?
drawers?

I'd like something inexpensive to put his stuff in. So far, art portfolios I have seen are expensive. I need something that will hold paper larger than a regular sheet.

It seems you actually want to keep the physical papers themselves, so this may not work for you. But I read somewhere (maybe MDC?) that someone took digital photos of every single piece of artwork ever completed by her LOs and then had those digital photo frames all over the house with all their creations. That way if her LOs wanted to go find one of their pictures, they could go through the memory cards. It made throwing away the artwork less traumatic while also preserving the memory of it. Just a thought.
