Hi Guys.

I am looking for a good metal sippy cup, or sports bottle that doesn't DRIP for a 2 y.o.! I bought the Sigg at Whole Foods the other day and it's a big dripper. We use them for the beach or outdoors where a big pile of water won't be too irritating. For me, Sigg is awesome since I do know better than to turn it upside down and shake it on myself!!

Anyone know if the Foogoo (Sp?) or Thermos are drippers? At one time, there was whole review of them on Z recommends, but I couldn't find it for all my efforts today.

Thanks!!

I have the funtainer (a thermos very similar to fogoo) AND just recently bought a fogoo too! The funtainer is good they cost the same, the only problem is that the straw top can come off.. my dd can pull it off with her teeth, which can present a choking hazzard.. that's why I got a fogoo too! Anyway, they are both pretty good as far as not dripping. The fogoo seems a bit better. They both can drip if left open on their side, but if you just tip it upside down it doesn't really drip. Both of ours are straw cups by the way.. it seems like dd drinks more fluids from a straw cup. OH and the best thing about these cups.. they really do keep fluid cold for HOURS! Like all day.. I often drink out of her cups, since I hate barely cold water!

I have a kleen kanteen and ds loves it. Now that it has been hot I put it in the fridge when he is not using it and he always asks "mommie cold water" it's really cute. As long as the top is on correctly I haven't noticed any leaks. It takes the advent spouts so you can find extras most anywhere. Me and my dh also have the larger sized ones and we really love them. I love not using bottled water anymore, I felt it was so wastful and didn't like being exposed to all that plastic. Ds also has a sigg. I notice that when ds turns the bottle upside down is when it leaks since there is no vacuum thingy inside. I'm sure it will work great when he is a little older and doesn't want to shake his bottle on everything, but for now the kleen kanteen is the ticket.

Hope this helps

Sigg has a new top for their bottles. It's called the active bottle top (picture here: http://www.mysigg.com/ProductImages/...mb_8087.10.JPG). It doesn't drip. The white part spins to open and close. When it's on open, you press the whole white part against the bottle to make the water flow. I just leave mine set to open - and I know a 2.5YO that figured out how to use it that way. The whole thing comes apart for washing.
