Please help!

I had been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter until she was 5 1/2 months old. At that time, we introduced solids (I know this wouldn't be some people's choice, but we really felt she was eager and ready for solids). Now, 3 weeks later, my periods have returned. This has made me worry that she may be receiving less milk from me. Is this a valid concern? How do I introduce solids but still be sure that she's having enough milk (she doesn't take a bottle so I never have any idea about the volume of her meals)?

FYI, before and since the introduction of solids, she has been nursing 6-7 times per day. I'm nursing her before each of her three naps, before bed, twice overnight, and sometimes once upon waking in the morning. I give her solids once per day after her second nap (usually 1-2 hours after I nursed her before that nap and about 1-2 hours before I nursed her before her third nap). She's up to 4 tbsp of food per day.

I want to keep breastfeeding as much as is healthy for my baby through her second year.

TIA!!

If she isnt nursing any less then I wouldnt worry too much. AF can return for any number of reasons and it my just be a coincidence that she returned when you introduced solids. (For me, AF came back 8week PP despite round the clock nursing)
But its best to nurse, then give the solid foods. You want breastmilk to be her food, and the solids to be extra on the side.
