how much did you use? I use just under a capful for a large load. I get a small amount of bubbles. It also has to do with the type of water--I think my water is soft (NYC water).

 

When I had hard water I loved Sportswash, but since moving to somewhere with softened well water I have a huge bubble problem. I don't think it is stripping the diapers (because they are already stripped), so I don't know what is going on. I just use Tide now and everything is stain/stink free so I am happy.

 

Sportwash will help strip detergent build-up from your diapers, I think that is what you are seeing.

When I first switched to Sportwash, the first three or four washes were full of suds, even though I rinsed several times for each load. I was discouraged until I posted like you and had several Sportwash users report the same phenomenon. But eventually the suds stopped.

I still do have lots of suds when a non-diapering item sneaks into the diaper pail. I used to wash things like night-peed pajamas with diapers, but since I still use regular detergent on my other laundry, I get lots of suds. So now I wash everything separately. I am seriously considering switching to Sportwash for all my laundry.

Just echoing what Kari_mom said. I had a lot of suds at first too, but after using it for awhile I see hardly any. I love sport wash (I use the sensiclean bottle, same thing). Hopefully your sudsing stops too!
