Varicose veins and/or stretch marks

Nobody is talking about these lovely attributes that accompany pregnancy. I am a varicose vein gal. Their huge, ugly, and itchy. My midwife says I need to wear support hose. Yeah right, in 90-100 degree weather? In addition to that, I have to find a medical supply store that carries them. We all know that we have a medical supply store on every corner in town.
Right now, I wish I had stretch marks instead.

Visiting from Jan. I've got 'em, too! This is my third pg and they are really bad this time, on one leg only. We've just moved to a new house and so, of course, I've been doing lots of physical stuff, too much. They've gotten a lot worse lately.

I too have been advised to wear support hose. My mw wrote me a prescription, but I found the same item for half price online and just took my own measurements and ordered them. Can't say I've worn them yet.....

Hammemelis 3X (homeopathic remedy) helps my veins a bit. Exercise does, too, and I do that daily.

Anyway, I'm there with you and wish this was something I was not having to deal with. How humbling! Best of luck with the last stretch of your pg.

I have them. Not terrible big bulgy ones but more like spider-y type things that are popping up ALL over my legs. Guess it doesn't help that I gained A LOT of weight last pregnancy that I never lost all of and then I'm gaining quite a bit this time, too. So I have both the varicose veins AND stretch marks. Not a severe case of either but definitely there and noticeable.
