O good I'm not the only one wondering where we go....

 

DS just turned 1 yo too I've been switching back and forth between here and Life with a babe for a few weeks now.

 

My ds turned 1 in January. I've been cruising the toddler forum to see issues that are ahead of us. I check in at life with a babe too but I agree that the posts aren't fitting for what's going on with us.
What's going on with your 1 yr. old?

 

From a definitional standpoint, a toddler is a child who "toddles", i.e., walks. If your child has started to walk, then he is a toddler.

 

I think you're good here

, especially if you feel you have outgrown the baby forum. Obviously toddlers covers a wider range age so not every post will seem relevant right now, but just go for it.

 

13 mos here. I have been floating back and forth between the two forums for a couple of months, but lately spending more time on Toddlers than LWAB.

Sometimes it's nice to feel like I've BTDT with the LWAB posts, though! It's nice to be in the more "experienced" seat remembering those early weeks/months of confusion!

Yeah, um, we're not quite toddling yet, cruising like crazy, and letting go at times, but not much

My babe just turned 9 months and he is walking but I still post in Life w/ a babe for him. I post for my 2 yr old dd here though. I guess we could start a Thread for young toddlers here though.....How about I start a get to know you thread ? Don't know how to the new thread to this one though so just look for the post of Mamas of young toddlers introduce yourself...

 

DD is 17 months and not yet walking on her own---but I've been lurking over here since she started scooting at 10 months. It seemed like a lot of the emotional/intellectual/food/safety/etc. dicussions here were already the right ones.

 

Well if it's a toddler (1 year+) issue it goes here. If it's sleeping, eating, health, diapering, babywearing, it goes in that appropriate forum.

For a while, I visited LWAB and Toddlers. Then, we got really busy and now my babe's definitely toddlerish. You can always visit Babe to give expert advice, though =)

 

DS is almost 13 months, and I refer to him as a bobbler sometimes.
